The role: ‘MIMI’ – female lead, 50–70, grey-haired, representing an European Woman.
Description:
A woman who has made travelling the story of her life. Curious, warm and open to the world, she meets everyone at eye level. She never shies away from an adventure on the road – whether she is horse-riding, out on a boat or on the back of a moto taxi. She has style and class without a trace of snobbery, loves beautiful places, moments and the finer things in life, and is just as happy to explore whatever is out there. Her spirit is young, and her eyes have a spark that draws you in – eyes that tell a million stories.
The role is a non-speaking role, thus ‘MIMI’ should be tell stories through her eyes, personality and her smile.
We are looking for: someone who genuinely IS Mimi and feels drawn to this call. Raw talents and everyone in between are welcome; what matters is that you share her qualities and have lived a life worth telling.
Skills: Fearless, physically fit and full of energy. You are comfortable riding a horse at an easy pace, you can swim and are happy to snorkel, you are at ease on boats and around animals, and you enjoy a tropical climate. No fear of flying to the Domenican Republic and back. Comfortable in front of the camera.
Look: 50–70 years old, grey or white hair, effortless elegance, an exceptional aura and charisma, in good shape. You represent a Swiss or European woman.
Language: This is a non-speaking role, however the language on set is English. You must be able to communicate confidently in English with the director and crew.
DATES, FEES & USAGE
Shoot: You must be fully available from 15–22 November 2026 is strict requirement.
(2 travel days travel to the Dominican Republic on 15 or 16 November (depending on flight) and flight back, fitting 17 November, 4 shooting days 18–21 November, return 22 November).
Requirements: You must hold a valid passport (min. 6 months validity) to travel to the Dominican Republic. You can be based in Switzerland, Europe, UK
Fee: CHF 1,200 per shooting day for self-employed talents issuing an invoice (all social contributions included) / CHF 1,000 per shooting day via payroll (employer contributions covered by the production). 4 shooting days, 2 travel days at 50 %, fitting included in the day rate.
Plus 20 % agency fee if represented by an agency.
